Highly-rated Akwa United FC youngster Wisdom Ndon has been named in the NPFL team of the week for matchday six of the 2023/2024 season.
Wisdom Ndon makes the team for his performance in Akwa United FC’s 1-0 win over Gombe United FC at the Eket Stadium on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
Akwa United FC Head Coach, Fatai Osho handed the young defender his sixth straight start of the season vs Gombe United FC.
Ndon and defence partner Tony Anioke were solid at the back , providing enough cover for goalkeeper Nurudeen Badmus to keep the Promise Keepers fourth cleansheet of the season after six matches.

Sani Mubarak scored his first Kano Pillars goal of the season against Bayelsa United to be named in left-back while Ismail Sodiq of Remo Stars Sports Club provided two assists in his sides 3-0 win over 3SC to get on the right side of a defence manned by Akwa United FC duo Wisdom Ndon and Tony Anioke.
