Hodgson to step down as Crystal Palace manager at the end of the season

Former Chelsea manager, Lampard expected to take over from him

Crystal Palace manager, Roy Hodgson has announced his decision to step down from his role as Crystal Palace manager at the end of this season, ending his four year stint at the helm of affairs at the South London club having joined the club in 2017.

Hodgson has been a manager for 46 years and has managed several European sides as well as the England national team. The former footballer is expected to retire from management at the end of the season. His former player and ex-Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is seen as a frontrunner for the role, as is Swansea City manager Steve Cooper and Nottingham Forest manager Valerien Ismael.
