Hojlund the hero as Ruben Amorim gets first win as Manchester United manager
Rasmus Hojlund was the hero as Ruben Amorim secured his first win as Manchester United manager, a 3-2 win over Bodo Glimit in the UEFA Europa League.
Hojlund was a substitute in Amorim’s first game, a dissapointing 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town in the Premier League on Sunday.
For his second game, Amorim named Hojlund in the starting XI and he justified his place with two goals and assist as United defeated Norway’s Bodo Glimit 3-2 at Old Trafford.
It was Hojlund who provided assist for Garnacho to score the opening goal of the match before scoring his own goal in a 2-2 first half score.
Hojlund will bag his brace and the match winner in the 50th minute to ensure Ruben Amorim’s home now ended in victory as he settles into life with the Premier League giants.
