Home Besed Eagles not seeded for CHAN 2018
The Home Based Eagles of Nigeria are not among the top four seeded team for the 2018 CHAN in Morocco , according to a draw procedure announced by CAF on Wednesday
The draw ceremony takes place in Rabat on Friday and has host Morocco, Angola , Ivory Coast and Libya as the top four seeded team
Nigeria are in Pot 2 along with Cameroon , Guinea and Zambia .
Pot 3 has Congo , Uganda, Rwanda and Sudan , while Pot 4 has Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, Mauritania and Namibia .
Nigeria placed third on their debut in 2014, but failed to go past the first round two years later in Rwanda .
The championship , which is reserved for players featuring in their domestic championships, will be played in four Moroccan cities.
It will be played between January 13 to February 4 , 2018.
