Home Sides Shine on NPFL Matchday 30 as Remo Stars Secure Important Win

Matchday 30 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) produced strong performances from home teams, with several clubs recording important victories on Sunday. Rangers International also earned a point after a goalless draw away to Kwara United in Ilorin.

Last season’s champions, Remo Stars FC, secured a crucial 2–1 victory over Nasarawa United FC in Ikenne. Stanley Joseph opened the scoring in the 62nd minute before Suleiman Dauda doubled the lead in the 83rd minute. Michael Ibe pulled one back for the visitors in the 88th minute, but Remo Stars held on to claim maximum points.

At the Enyimba International Stadium, Enyimba International FC defeated Plateau United FC 2–0. Paul Odeh scored in the 56th minute, while Chinedu Ufere added the second eight minutes later.

In Ibadan, Shooting Stars SC edged out Wikki Tourists FC 3–2 in an exciting encounter.

Niger Tornadoes FC and Kano Pillars FC played out a goalless draw, while Kwara United FC shared the points with Rangers International FC in Ilorin.

Elsewhere, El-Kanemi Warriors FC drew 1–1 with Katsina United FC, while Barau FC beat Abia Warriors FC 2–0. Bayelsa United FC also recorded a 2–1 win over Warri Wolves FC.
