Matchday 24 of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season produced a blend of emphatic home wins and hard-fought draws across different venues, as teams battled for crucial points at a decisive stage of the campaign.
Katsina United delighted their fans with a convincing 2–0 win over Abia Warriors, claiming all three points on home soil. In Aba, Enyimba International continued their steady rise up the standings with a narrow 1–0 victory against Bayelsa United.
In Minna, supporters were treated to an exciting contest as Niger Tornadoes and Bendel Insurance settled for a 2–2 draw after an open and competitive game. Rangers International also impressed in Enugu, where they secured a comfortable 2–0 win over Kano Pillars.
Elsewhere, Wikki Tourist and Nasarawa United shared the spoils in a 1–1 draw in Bauchi, with neither side able to find a late winner in a closely fought encounter.
A number of fixtures were lined up to round off Matchday 24 on Monday, February 2, 2026. El-Kanemi Warriors were due to face Kun Khalifat, Remo Stars were set to host Plateau United, Barau FC were scheduled to take on Ikorodu City, while Kwara United prepared to welcome Warri Wolves.
Meanwhile, the much-anticipated clash between Shooting Stars and Rivers United was postponed, with league organisers expected to announce a new date in due course.
