How many goals did Victor Osimhen score in Galatasaray’s dramatic draw against Kasimpasa?

Victor Osimhen opened his account for Galatasaray with a stunning brace in their 3-3 draw against Kenneth Omeruo’s Kasimpasa in a thrilling Super Lig clash at Rams Global Stadium.

The Nigerian forward’s two early strikes gave Galatasaray a commanding lead, but the team was unable to secure all three points as Kasimpasa staged a remarkable comeback.

Osimhen, who joined the Turkish giants earlier in the season, struck first in the 20th minute with a clinical finish, followed by his second just eight minutes later. The in-form Mauro Icardi added a third for the hosts in the 34th minute, seemingly putting the match beyond doubt.

However, Kasimpasa found a lifeline when Mamadou Fall scored just before halftime in the 44th minute, reducing the deficit to 3-1. The momentum shifted further in the second half, as Kasimpasa pushed forward and Haris Hajradinovic found the back of the net in the 83rd minute to make it 3-2. The visitors completed their dramatic comeback when Nuno Da Costa equalised in the 90th minute, shocking the home crowd.

Despite the disappointment of dropping points after taking a 3-0 lead, Osimhen’s performance was a major positive for Galatasaray. The Nigerian striker showcased his lethal finishing ability, and his goals will provide a confidence boost as he continues to settle into life in Turkey.

Galatasaray, under the guidance of manager Okan Buruk, had enjoyed a perfect start to the season before this draw. They remain unbeaten in the league but will need to tighten up defensively if they hope to continue challenging for the Super Lig title. Kasimpasa, with Nigerian defender Kenneth Omeruo playing a key role, earned a well-deserved point to maintain their mid-table position.
