How much is Al Ittihad offering for Ademola Lookman
Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad have officially submitted a bid to Atalanta for Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman as confirmed by the Europa League champions.
Lookman had an outstanding season with Atalanta, scoring 17 goals and providing ten assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.
His performances were pivotal in Atalanta’s fourth-place finish in Serie A and their UEFA Europa League victory, where Lookman scored a hattrick in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.
Following his impressive displays, Lookman has drawn interest from top European clubs, including Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Manchester United.
Despite this, Al Ittihad have now entered the fray with a formal offer. According to Rudy Galetti, the Saudi-based club has placed a €30 million bid for Lookman and plans to offer him a salary of €10.5 million (₦17 billion) per year.
Atalanta, however, has yet to respond to the offer. It is believed that the club values Lookman at €60 million, making it unlikely they will accept Al Ittihad’s bid.
Additionally, Lookman is reportedly more interested in a move to the Premier League and would prefer a transfer to a top English club if they can meet Atalanta’s valuation.
