HT: Nigeria 1 Seychelles 1: Uzoho’s blunder puts visitors back after Ighalo’s 7th qualifiers strike

Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho gifted away a cheap goal to bring the Pirates of Seychelles back against Eagles AFCON qualifier played at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on Friday.

The Eagles were all over place with only Oghenekaro Etebo and Wilfred Ndidi the lively players on the pitch.

Despite their lacklustre display, Nigeria tool the lead in the 35th minute from the 12-yard when Odion Ighalo scored his 7th of the qualifiers.

Wilfred Ndidi was fouled in the box for the penalty.

The visitors who grew into the game after seeing their hosts lacked creativity were rewarded with a goal when Francis Uzoho misjudged a ball and allowed Roddy Melanie to fire into an empty post in the 41st minute.
