Caroline Celico, the former wife of football icon Kaka, has disclosed the reasons behind their split in 2015, attributing it to Kaka’s perceived perfection.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2005 after a long-standing relationship, parted ways after nearly a decade of marriage, despite having two children together.

Celico’s recent revelation sheds light on her perspective on their relationship and her subsequent journey toward finding happiness.

Post-divorce, Celico immersed herself in philanthropic endeavors, founding the charity “Horizontal Love” to support various social causes in Brazil.

Additionally, she pursued personal growth and fulfillment, eventually finding love again and marrying Eduardo Scarpa Julião in 2021. The couple is now eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child, marking a new chapter in Celico’s life.

While Celico sought happiness in her post-divorce life, Kaka also found love anew. His relationship with Carolina Dias, which commenced in 2017, blossomed into an engagement earlier this year.

The former Ballon d’Or winner expressed his elation on social media, sharing his joy at the prospect of building a future with Dias and their one-year-old daughter, Sarah.

Kaka’s illustrious football career, marked by numerous accolades including the FIFA World Cup triumph with Brazil in 2002, remains a testament to his exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.
