The Nigerian International made this disclosure in an exclusive chat with SPORTSRATION after a man of the match winning performance as Akwa United FC defeated his former club, Remo Stars 3-2 at the Eket Stadium on Sunday November 19, 2023.

” Before kick-off the feeling was huge for me. You know while in Ikene I made my CAF Confederation Cup debut, got U-23 call up and then the home based Super Eagles came calling , so I still hold the Sky Blues very dear to my heart but then i am now a Promise Keeper.
” This is a team (Akwa United FC) I want to give my all. I want to put a smile on the faces of my darling state, my first fans which is my family, the supporters of Akwa United, the manangent, and everyone who believes in me.
” Before kick-off i wished the two sides can return with 3points but when the game began I could only think about Akwa United winning.
” I knew if we (Akwa United) must win then they need Me to be at my best game.
” We won, thanks to God Almighty for the well deserved 3-points, ” the forward concluded.
