Iheanacho Nominated For Leicester City Award

Super Eagles striker, Kelechi Iheanacho has been nominated for Leicester City’s goal of the month award for February.

The former Manchester City forward was nominated twice for his sublime goals against Aston Villa and Tottenham.

He scored a superb flying header and also recorded two assists in the 4-2 win against Aston Villa at Villa Park last month.

He also produced another sublime finish in the 4-1 win over Tottenham at the King Power Stadium in the same month.

The 26-year-old will battle it out with the likes of James Maddison, Tete, Dennis Prager, Papy Mendy, Harvey Barnes, Hannah Cain and Logan Briggs for the award.

Iheanacho was subbed off in the second half of Leicester City’s 3-1 loss at home to Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.
