Iheanacho nominated for Leicester City award

Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho has been nominated for Leicester City Goal of the Month for October, 2023 . Sportsration reports.

The Nigerian striker’s goal in a 3-0 home win against Preston North End in the English Championship was shortlisted.

Iheanacho doubled Leicester’s lead in the game after finishing off a superb team move at the King Power Stadium.

The winner of the Leicester City FC October Goal of the Month award will be decided by fans voting.

This season, Iheanacho has scored five goals and provided one assist in 15 league appearances.

He has so far netted six goals, provided two assists in 17 games in all competitions this season for the Foxes.
