Iheancho Score In Leicester City Pre Season Win

Super Eagles foward, Kelechi Iheanacho scored for Leicester City on Tuesday as Brendan Rodgers side defeated Cambridge United 3-0 in a pre season friendly.

Iheancho was not part of Nigeria’s Bronze medal winning Africa Cup Of Nations squad and stepped up his road to resurrection at the King power stadium when he rose highest in the box in the 83rd minute to double Leicester’s lead, after Harry Maguire had given them the advantage.

With a view of returning to the Eagles’ fold, Iheanacho will be hoping to break into Brendan Rodgers’ first team when the season starts.

Leicester City will be playing host to Wolves in their premier league opener on the 10th of August 2019
