Ikorodu City Defender Leonard Ngenge to Join Leeds United This Summer

Ikorodu City defender Leonard Ngenge is set to join Sky Bet Championship club Leeds United this summer.

According to Ikorodu City’s director, Adepoju Tobi Samuel, Ngenge has already signed a pre-contract agreement with the club.

Leeds United, currently pushing for promotion to the English Premier League, is at the top of the Championship table with 76 points from 36 matches.

Ngenge will officially join Leeds United when he turns 18 in August and will initially train with the club’s U-18 side. He is expected to progress to the first team in the future.

The young defender was named Man of the Match in Ikorodu City’s 1-0 victory over Lobi Stars on Sunday.
