Injury Blow for Nottingham Forest as Ola Aina is Ruled Out

Nottingham Forest FC have suffered a major setback as Nigerian full-back Ola Aina has been ruled out with a calf injury.

The Nigerian defender picked up the injury during Forest’s 1-0 win over Manchester United at the City Ground on Tuesday. He was forced off before halftime and replaced by Alex Moreno.

Aina was later seen leaving the stadium on crutches, raising concerns over his fitness.

Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo confirmed that Aina has undergone a scan and will be out for some time.

“He already did the scan, he will be out for a while, he’s not going to be available,” Nuno said in a press conference.

“It’s a big blow, yeah. We will miss his quality, his talent, and the understanding he has with his teammates. It’s a problem with the calf.”

Aina’s absence will be a huge loss for Nottingham Forest as they continue their fight for survival in the Premier League.
