Fenerbahce have firmly denied recent rumours suggesting that their manager, Jose Mourinho, is considering a move to Premier League club Everton.

The Turkish club issued a clear statement dismissing these reports, ensuring that Mourinho remains fully committed to Fenerbahce.

In a statement published in Sunday’s edition of Hurriyet, a major Turkish newspaper, the club emphasised that Mourinho is focused solely on his job at Fenerbahce and has no plans to leave. “There is no offer from Everton, and even if there was, Mourinho only has Fenerbahce in mind,” the statement read.

Mourinho’s camp has also denied being aware of any links to Everton, with his agent, Jorge Mendes, reportedly surprised by the rumours.

Mourinho, who joined Fenerbahce in the summer of 2024, is aiming to end Galatasaray’s recent dominance in the Turkish Super Lig. Galatasaray, who secured Victor Osimhen on loan this season, are chasing their third consecutive league title after setting a record with 100 points last season.
