Isaac Success Scores First Goal in 30 Games, Udinese Rejoice

Isaac Success has finally scored his first goal since the start of the season to help Udinese beat Cremonese 3-0 in a Serie A game played at the Dacia Arena – Stadio Friuli on Sunday.
Lazar Samardžić and Nehuén Pérez scored two quick goals to hand Udinese a two-goal lead within 27 minutes, and Isaac Success scored the third in the 36th minute of the game.
It was Isaac Success’ first goal since he scored for Udinese at the start of the season in a Coppa Italia game against FeralpiSalo on August 5th, 2022.
Since the goal against FeralpiSalo, he played in 30 games ( 29 Italian Serie A, 1 Coppa Italia) without scoring a single until his goal today against Cremonese.
His goal was celebrated by his teammates, as the Nigerian finally break the duck. Isaac Success was, however, taken off 8 minutes after his goal due to an injury.
In 30 Serie A games, Isaac Success has 1 goal and assisted 6 goals.
Apart from Isaac Success, five other Nigerian-born players were involved in the Udinese v Cremonese fixtures.
20-year-old defender Festy Ebosele played for 6 minutes after coming in for another Nigerian-born Kevin Ehizibue who played for 84 minutes – both players played for Udinese.
Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers played for 60 minutes, and David Okereke and Emanuel Aiwu were introduced at the start of the second half – all three players played for Cremonese.
