“It felt good playing in front of Kano fans” – Ezekiel Tamara
says Bendel Insurance will get it right
Bendel Insurance midfielder, Ezekiel Tamara has expressed his joy after playing again in front of Kano Pillars fans in the stalemate at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday.
Speaking to Sportsration on Monday, Ezekiel Tamara said it was a privilege to face his two former teammates, Rabiu Ali and Musa Abdullahi.
“It was a big privilege to play alongside Rabiu Ali and Musa Abdullahi when I was at Kano Pillars. It’s a thing of joy to play again in front of the massive Kano Pillars fans. I gave a good account of myself, played with my sweat and blood for Kano Pillars and it was a great feeling playing in Kano State again.” Tamara said.
Tamara also spoke on the form of Bendel Insurance, having 5 draws in 10 games.
“We played two draws at home, which was supposed to be two wins for us. We got another point on the road on Sunday in a place like Kano.
“The philosophy here is that, if we don’t score then we don’t concede. I believe that has helped us pretty well this season. We will soon get everything right as the season goes on.” Tamara told Sportsration.
