It’s a Nigeria show as Emem Eduok and Omeruo score in Kasimpasa win
Emem Eduok, Omerou scoreNigerian duo of Emem Eduok and Kenneth Omerou were on target as Kasimpasa beats Konyaspor 2-1 to move up to 10th place in the Turkish Super Lig.
Eduok who scored his third goal of the season in last week away win at Karabukspor wasted no time in getting his fourth at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium after Markus Neumayr provided an assist in the 12th minute of the game.
Hadziahmetovic came on for Musa Araz in the 55th minute and one minute later levelled the score for visiting Konyaspor following a defensive blunder assisted by Moryke Fofana.
The equalizer increased the confidence of the away team as they mounted pressure as another Nigerian, Imoh Ezekiel replaced Fofana in the 82nd minute but the change changed nothing for Konyaspor as Super Eagles returnee, Omerou added the second goal for the home team in 90th minute to ensure Coach Kemal Ozdes recorded his sixth win of the season.
The team next travels to Fenerbahce on Sunday for another clash.
