” It’s Very Possible ” Dakkada Fc Coach Daniel Japhet optimistic the club can beat the drop.

In the absence of Head Coach Danlami Umar, Coach Daniel Japhet was assigned to face the press for the post match interview after Dakkada Fc’s 2-0 win over 3SC in Uyo on Matchday 32 of the 2021/2022 NPFL season.

 

Goals in each half of the match by youngster Emmanuel Ayaosi and skipper Aniekan Ekpe helped relegation battling Dakkada Fc to three valuable points in their fight against the drop at the end of the Season.

 

In his post match interview immediately after the game, Coach Daniel Japhet  expressed optimism that it was Dakkada Fc could still finish outside the drop zone this term.

 

Daniel Japhet said ” Its one game at a time, we have our next game on Wednesday. We are done with this so we will go back and start preparing for the next game . I think it’s very possible (survival). In football anything can happen.”

 

” It’s just a game of 90 minutes . We have another final of 90 minutes vs Abia Warriors on Wednesday. We have our game plan so we will work to see how we can achieve something from that. ”

 

When asked about the Impact of experienced Skipper Aniekan Ekpe the former Vandrezzer Fc assistant manager said ” If you look at our squad we have a large number of young players so we need People like Aniekan Ekpe that will guide them with his experience and knowledge of the game.

 

” He is just outstanding . Age is a number. He adds that willingness to play, that desire to fight because of the position we find ourselves. He is such a massive plus for us. ” Coach Daniel Japhet concluded.

 

Sunday’s Victory over 3SC at the Godswill Akpabio international stadium Uyo means Dakkada Fc have gathered 33 points from 30 matches to occupy 19th spot in the 32 week old 2021/2022 Nigerian professional football league season.

 

On Wednesday 8th June 2022, Dakkada Fc will take on Abia Warriors in a rescheduled NPFL match by 4pm at the Godswill Akpabio international stadium Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria .
