Iwobi and Bassey Key as Fulham Aim for Historic FA Cup Semifinal

Fulham manager Marco Silva is hopeful that his team can take a big step towards their first major trophy as they prepare to face Crystal Palace in the FA Cup quarterfinals.

The Cottagers have never won a domestic cup, and a victory in this match would send them to Wembley for the semifinals. Silva understands the importance of the occasion and wants the players to embrace the opportunity.

“Our fans haven’t seen Fulham in a domestic final, and it would be a dream for them. We love them to dream, but we must take it step by step. First, we need to be strong in the quarter-finals,” Silva said.

The Portuguese manager also highlighted the team’s progress under his leadership, recalling their Carabao Cup semifinal appearance last season and their continued improvement.

Silva will be relying on key players like Nigerian stars Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey, who have been instrumental this season. Their performances will be crucial as Fulham look to make history by securing a spot in the FA Cup semifinals.
