Iwobi predicts tough week for Fulham FC
Nigerian midfielder, Alex Iwobi has predicted a tough week for his English Premier League club, Fulham FC one that we require effort from the whole squad.
Since joining Fulham FC from Everton FC, the versatile Nigerian International has had to operate as a substitute, unlike the indispensability he enjoyed with the Toffees.
After coming off the bench to help the Cottagers grind out a 1-1 draw vs Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon, Iwobi is looking forward to the next challenges.
This week, the Cottagers will face Championship side Ipswich away in the Carabao Cup before hosting Manchester United FC in the weekend.
“It’s going to be a very hard week; we’re going to need the whole squad. They’re [Ipswich] doing very well, so we’re going to analyze them and do what we can do to beat them.
“The next couple of games, we know it’s not going to be easy; it’s going to be hard”, he told Standard Sports.
Fulham FC are currently placed 14th on the English Premier League standings.
