Jessica Pegula secures fourth WTA 1000 title in Dubai

Jessica Pegula defeated Elina Svitolina 6-2, 6-4 to win the title at the Dubai Tennis Championships.

The victory marks Pegula’s 10th career title and her fourth at WTA 1000 level. She improves to 13–2 in 2026 and secured back to back Top 10 wins on her way to the trophy.

It also continues a strong start to the season for Pegula, who has looked composed and efficient throughout the opening stretch of the year.

After the match, Pegula revealed the win carried personal significance.

“It’s a great birthday present for me,” she said. “I get to celebrate by flying back home in a few hours. Super happy to go home with the trophy. It was a great week.”
