Juventus open talks with Atletico to sign Arsenal target Thomas Partey

Juventus have appeared in the scene as the destination of Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey who has been a long term target of Arsenal.

There have been several reports linking the Ghanaian midfielder to a move to Arsenal every week with the same reports also claiming Arsenal’s unwillingness to activite his release clause the only problem.

But it looks like Thomas Partey would now be heading to Juventus after reports from Italy suggest Atletico and Juve are working something out.

According to a Turin based outlet, II Biaconero, Juventus have started talks with Atletico but are also unwilling to pay his €50m release clause.

Juventus are reportedly interested in throwing either Bernardeschi or Douglas Costa in the deal in other to lower the fee.

The reports claim that Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone who is a fan of both Juventus players would be open to the move.
