Kabiru Dogo reacts to Nasarawa United’s draw against Bayelsa United
Nasarawa United FC head coach, Kabiru Dogo, has expressed disappointment with his team’s 0-0 draw against Bayelsa United on matchday five of the 2024/2025 NPFL season.
Dogo who quit Kwara United to join Nasarawa United just before league kickoff said his players created enough chances to win the match but were unable to convert them. Despite the result, he praised the team’s effort during the game.
“I’m not happy that we couldn’t score. We had chances, but our finishing wasn’t good enough,” Dogo said.
“However, I’m proud of the boys. They were just unlucky today. We perform well away from home, but it’s a different story when we play at home.
“That’s football. The league is getting better, and the most important thing now is to play well and score more than the opponents.
“With time, we will break this trend and start winning our home games. We’ll focus on improving our attack and aim to bounce back in future matches.”
