Katsina United Coach Bishir Sadoki Admits Nasarawa United Deserved Victory

Katsina United head coach Bishir Sadoki has admitted that Nasarawa United deserved to win their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 20 encounter, following a 1-0 defeat at the Lafia City Stadium on Saturday.

The only goal of the match came in the 34th minute, with Qamar Adegoke scoring for Nasarawa United.

Sadoki acknowledged his team’s struggles during the game, particularly in the harsh weather conditions in Lafia. “Both teams played well, but Nasarawa United wanted the points more than us, especially with their position in the league standings and the new players they have brought in for this part of the season,” Sadoki said after the match.

“The weather was very tough for both teams. Playing such an intense game under the hot sun is not easy for anyone, as the temperature was extremely high,” he added.

Despite the loss, Sadoki remained optimistic and stated, “We will do our best to win our next game, no matter who the opponents are.”
