Kelechi Nwakali celebrates sister following major career achievement
Nigerian footballer, Kelechi Nwakali has taken to social media to celebrate his sister Ruth Nwakali’s induction into the medical laboratory science profession.
Nwakali, who currently plays for Portuguese club G.D Chaves, shared his pride in his sister’s achievement in a heartfelt post on social media. Alongside beautiful pictures of Ruth, he captioned, “Proud of you my love.”
Ruth Nwakali, the youngest member and only daughter of the Nwakali family, recently graduated from the Faculty of Health Science at Imo State University. In March 2024, she was inducted into the medical laboratory science profession, marking a significant milestone in her career.
Despite not being able to fulfill his dream of representing Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament, Kelechi Nwakali continues to support his family and celebrate their achievements. His sister’s accomplishment adds to the Nwakali family’s pride and joy.
In addition to his sister’s success, Nwakali’s professional journey has seen him undergo several club transfers since departing from English Premier League giants Arsenal in 2019. While he has faced challenges in his football career, Nwakali remains dedicated to both his personal and professional growth.
Although Nwakali has been absent from the international scene for almost two years, his notable appearances with the Super Eagles, including the AFCON 2022 tournament hosted by Cameroon, reflect his talent and contribution to Nigerian football.
