Kopa Trophy: Samuel Chukwueze makes award shortlist
Villarreal and Nigeria forward Samuel Chukwueze has been named on a 10-man shortlist for the 2019 Kopa Trophy for players aged under 21.
The 20-year-old made his first-team debut for Villarreal on September 2018 and was part of the Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations squad in Egypt this summer.
Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho and Portugal’s Joao Felix are also among the nominees.
The winner will be named in Paris on December 2.
