Kwara United’s Coach Kabiru Dogo reveals 2024/2025 pre-season target
The head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Kwara United FC, Kabiru Dogo has revealed their target in pre-season ahead of the 2024/2025 season.
Kwara United’s head coach, Kabiru Dogo, has announced plans to rebuild the team as they prepare for the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Despite the departure of 22 players at the end of last season, Dogo is optimistic about the team’s prospects.
In a recent statement per Adexsports at the Valuejet pre-season tournament, Dogo appealed to Kwara United’s supporters to continue their backing. He emphasised the need for fan support as the team undergoes significant changes.
“We are rebuilding a new team,” Dogo said. “Over 22 players left for other teams last season, so we need to strengthen our squad as early as possible to avoid a repeat of last season’s average performance.”
Dogo expressed confidence in the young players currently in the squad, noting their impressive performances. “I am impressed with the brilliant display from our young players and believe that with time, they will gel together seamlessly,” he added.
The coach’s focus now is on assembling a competitive team that can make a strong showing in the upcoming season.
