Everton pushing to sign Chukwueze before transfer deadline
Frank Lampard is reportedly doing everything for Everton to sign Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal, reports SportsRation.
The English manager who is credited with Alex Iwobi’s newfound form is reportedly keen on uniting the former Arsenal player with his Super Eagles mate.
According to the Spanish newspaper, AS, Villarreal, and Everton have been in talks, in fact, they have had the first round of talks and more talks will be made today.
The report further revealed that Villarreal will be open to selling the Nigerian attacker who has fallen out of favour as he is now considered a third choice.
Villarreal academy graduate, Yeremy Pino, and Gio Lo Celso are said to be ahead of the Nigerian and Villarreal would be open to selling Samuel Chukwueze should Everton make the right offer.
Samuel Chukwueze’s 100 million euros release clause will not be a problem should Everton push for the deal to be completed before the transfer deadline.
