Laporte open to dumping Al Nassr for European kings
Al Nassr defender Aymeric Laporte has expressed his openness to listening to offers from Real Madrid amid ongoing speculation about his future.
The former Manchester City star has been linked with a transfer to the Spanish giants as the January transfer window approaches.
In an interview with Spanish radio show El Larguero, Laporte stated, “I’d obviously listen to the Real Madrid call; you can’t ignore clubs like that.” He added that while he’s not deeply informed about the rumours, it’s flattering to see his name associated with such a prestigious team.
The potential interest from Real Madrid comes at a crucial time, following Eder Militao’s ACL injury, which has created a gap in their defensive lineup, increasing the likelihood of Laporte’s move.
Notably, Laporte was part of the Spanish national team that triumphed at Euro 2024, adding to his impressive resume after his treble-winning season with Manchester City.
