Lebron James: Kevin Durant the difference in game 1

Cleveland Cavaliers superstar Lebron James has singled out the impact of Kevin Durant in their 113-91 defeat to Golden State Warriors in Oakland on Thursday.

Kevin Durant was dominant in game one as he dropped 38 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists in game 1 of the NBA playoffs final in a tie the Cavs had no answer to what the Warriors threw at them.

Kevin Durant teammates Stephen Curry also had a good game leading both teams on assist and dropping 28 points on the night but Lebron says it was “Kevin Durant” who stood out when asked by a reporter what stood out for the Warriors in the game.

“I mean, you take one of the best teams that was ever assembled last year that we saw in the regular and post-season, and then in the off-season, you add a high-powered offensive talent like that and a great Basketball IQ like that, that’s what stand out.

“There is no ifs, and buts about it, it is what it is we got to figure out how to combat that, which is going to be a difficult challenge for us but that’s what stand out.”

Kevin Durant led all the players on scoring chat with his 38 points, Stephen Curry and Lebron James finished with 28points while Kyrie Irving finished with 24 points.
