LeBron James passes Abdul-Jabbar for most postseason field goals

Add yet another accolade to LeBron James’ storied career — the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar has now scored more postseason field goals than any other NBA player.

James knocked down a mid-range jumper from the baseline with just over three minutes remaining before half-time against the Boston Celtics in game four of the Eastern Conference finals on Monday.

The basket was James’ 2,357th career playoff field goal, moving him ahead of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most in postseason history.

James has played in seven successive NBA Finals. The 33-year-old has won three titles, two with the Miami Heat and one with the Cavaliers in 2016.
