Leon Balogun earns Scottish Premier League team of the week spot
Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun continued to show his quality in the Scottish Premiership, earning a spot in Whoscored.com’s Team of the Week for his standout performance in Rangers’ 3-0 win over Ross County on Sunday.
Balogun played the full 90 minutes in defense as Rangers secured a dominant victory at the Global Energy Stadium. Rangers took control early in the match, with Hamza Igamane scoring in the sixth minute. Danilo added a second goal before halftime, and James Tavernier sealed the victory with a third goal, assisted by Cyriel Dessers.
