Leon Balogun Joins QPR FC
Nigerian defender Leon Balogun has joined English Championship side QPR FC on a One year contract , the club announced .
Balogun was on the books of Scottish Premier League Champions Glasgow Rangers last season . The Super Eagle left Rangers at the expiration of his contract in July.
Queens Park Rangers FC will be boosted by the addition of the experienced defender who returns to English football having starred in the EPL for Brighton and Hove Albion .
QPR FC have struggled in the Championship thus far and sit in 17th place following a return of one win , two draws and two defeats from the opening five games .
Manager Mick Beale is already thrilled with the special attributes Balogun will bring to his QPR side.
” I like the way he carries himself, he has elite standards and I have seen that first hand-He is a very special person . ” The QPR manager told the club media.
QPR FC will on Saturday August 27 take on Watford FC at Vicarage road on Matchday six of the 2022/2023 English Championship season .
