Liverpool for the third time top Premier League agent fees chart

Liverpool, the soon to be crown Premier League champions have topped the chart for the most money paid to player’s agents for the third time consecutive year.
According to chart released by the Football Association, no Premier League club paid more money to agents in bid to sign complete the signing of players like Liverpool.
The chart which covers the 2019 summer and 2020 winter transfer windows showed the that the soon to be Premier League champions spent ÂŁ30.3million on agents compared with nearly ÂŁ44m the previous year, but that is still the most of any top flight club.
The top four, as in the two previous years, comprises Liverpool, Manchester City (ÂŁ29m), Manchester United (ÂŁ27.6m) and Chelsea (ÂŁ26.2m).
Everton (ÂŁ16.9m) are the fifth biggest spenders on agents’ fees, according to the FA’s figures, with Arsenal (ÂŁ13.6m), West Ham (ÂŁ13.2m) and Tottenham (ÂŁ12.5m) making up the top eight.
Burnley spent a fraction on player agents’ fees compared to the Premier League’s top four
Burnley (ÂŁ3.9m) forked out the least of any top flight club, with Sheffield United (ÂŁ4.3m) and Norwich (ÂŁ4.9m) making up the bottom three.
Championship clubs paid out a combined ÂŁ49.3m, slightly down on last year’s ÂŁ50m, with Stoke (ÂŁ5.6m) and Swansea (ÂŁ5.2m) topping the list.
League One sides spent ÂŁ3.9m, down from almost ÂŁ6m with Sunderland accounting for nearly ÂŁ1.4m, and League Two clubs gave agents ÂŁ1.2m, a slight increase from just under ÂŁ1million.
The total figures for all top five divisions show English football spent just over ÂŁ318m on agents, which is almost ÂŁ80,000 down on a year ago.
