Liverpool make offer as they plan Kalidou Koulibaly-Virgil van Dijk pairing
Liverpool have reportedly made an offer to the 2020 Coppa Italia winners, Napoli in bid to sign their defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
The soon to be crowned Premier League champions are focused on pairing Kalidou Koulibaly and Virgil van Dijk after making an official offer to Napoli for the Senegalese.
Liverpool already boost of one of the best front line in Europe with the presence of Mo Salah, Saido Mane and Roberto Firmino in their attack.
They have a very good goalkeeper in Alison Becker.
Their full backs, Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are one of the best in their positions.
And they are now looking to pair Kalidou Koulibaly with Virgil van Dijk next season.
But their reported offer of £58m is far from Napoli valuation of Kalidou Koulibaly who for many seasons have been linked with a move away from Italy but never materialised.
Napoli owner, Aurelio De Laurentiis has been quoted saying Kalidou Koulibaly is worth £90m in today’s market this means Liverpool are still £32m apart from meeting the 29-year-old defender valuation.
Chelsea and Manchester United who are also looking to sign a top central defender are also monitoring the situation.
