Liverpool’s disastrous season continues to go from bad to worse after young star, Stefan Bajcetic was ruled out until the end of the season.
The 18-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Anfield making 19 appearances in all competitions.
He started the first leg against Real Madrid at Anfield which the Reds lost 5-2.
Bajcetic has been ruled out of the season after suffering an adductor problem in training, which made him missed the Real Madrid second leg clash.
“It’s very sad to say goodbye to this amazing season for me,” Bajcetic said.
“But I understand this is part of football and will only make me stronger physically and mentally.
“I would also like to say thank you to you Reds for all the support through the season and I assure you I will do my best to be back stronger than ever.”
Liverpool have battled with injuries this season with the likes of Virgil Van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz all missing at a point in the season.
