Taiwo Awoniyi is set to complete a £17.5m club move from Union Berlin to two-time Champions League winners Nottingham Forest this week.
The Super Eagles striker reportedly turned down a move to German Bundesliga giants RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund in favour of a move to the Premier League new boys.
Taiwo Awoniyi is said to have completed his medicals today and could be announced as the Nottingham Forest record signing this week.
The deal, however, will earn Liverpool £1.75m due to the 10% sell-on clause inserted in the deal that took the Nigerian to the German club last summer.
