Lobi Stars coach hails players after North Central derby win over Plateau United

Lobi Stars’ coach, Mika Lonnström, praised his players for their 1-0 victory over Plateau United in the North Central derby at Lafia City Stadium.

Waheed Adebayo’s goal just before halftime was the match winner, giving Lobi Stars the bragging rights.

After the game, Lonnström spoke highly of his team’s performance, saying, “The team played good football with strong defending. The first half was fantastic, and the three points are very important for us.”

With the win, Lobi Stars moved up to 15th place with 19 points from 17 games.

Next, Lobi Stars will travel to Benin to play Bendel Insurance on match day 18.
