says he is settling down well in Markudi
Waheed Adebayo has urged his Lobi Stars teammates to believe they can win the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title after their hard-fought win at Bayelsa.
The former MFM FC forward played all minutes available as Lobi Stars defeated Bayelsa United 2-1 at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa on Monday with a brace from Samuel Tiza and Robert Mizo getting the only goal for the home side.
Speaking to SportsRation in an interview, Waheed Adebayo said he believes his team can win the league title.
“Winning an away game in the NPFL is always tough, but we saw it to the end. I believe we can win the league, as long as we keep fighting hard and don’t relent from the hard work. This is a very compact team and we just need to believe that we can do it.” Adebayo said.
Waheed Adebayo who joined Lobi Stars from Niger Tornadoes also said he is settling down well in Markudi.
“Things have been good for me at Lobi Stars. The management, coaches, and teammates have helped me settle down so well in Markudi. I just have to repay the faith in me by dropping good performances consistently.” Adebayo told SportsRation.
