Mali held as Zambia earn draw, Morocco lead the group

Mali’s match against Zambia ended in a draw, a result that leaves Morocco as the only team at the top of the group. SportsRation reports.
Mali dominated but failed to finish
Mali controlled the game from the start and created several chances. Their best opportunity came in the 41st minute when Dorgeles Nene was fouled in the penalty area. El Bilal Touré stepped up to take the penalty but missed.
Zambia struggled to create clear chances and relied mainly on strong defending, committing a number of fouls. Mali continued to press, and Touré later missed again with a header.
Goals in the second half
In the 60th minute, Mali finally took the lead. Lassine Sinayoko scored with a calm right-foot finish after a move that began from a corner kick.
Zambia responded by pushing forward and were rewarded with a late equaliser. Star striker Patson Daka scored to earn his team a valuable point.

On Friday the 26th, Zambia will play Comoros in their second Group A match. On the same day, Morocco will face Mali.
