Man Utd close in on City striker who scored 600 goals in the last 6 seasons
Manchester United will continue their youth team building with the capture of Manchester City striker who has scored a total of 600 goals in the last six seasons.
After they confirmed the signings of Marc Jurado from Barcelona, Alvaro Fernandez from Real Madrid, Isak Hansen-Aaroen from Tromso IL and Alejandro Garnacho from Atletico Madrid.
Manchester United are ready to add another highly rated youngster to their youth team in the frame of striker Charlie McNeil.
The 17-year-old striker is going from the Blue side of Manchester to Red in a deal reportedly worth £750k but could rise to £1m.
“Thank you very much to Manchester City for everything they’ve done for me during the last six years,” McNeil posted on Instagram in July.
“It has been a pleasure to play with some incredible players, I wish everyone the best.”
United would be hoping the 17-year-old striker follow in the footsteps of Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood who became first team members having impressed from the youth set up.
