Manchester United knocked out of the FA Cup by Middleborough

 

On a day Manchester United paid tribute to victims of the Munich disaster, the Red devil’s are knocked out of the FA cup in the fourth round by Championship side Middleborough 7-8 after Penalties.

Middleborough’s Crooks struck In the 64th minute to cancel Jordan Sancho’s opening goal for a 1-1 scoreline as the Red devil’s struggled in vain for a goal through the remainder of regulation and extra time and we’re left wishing Cristiano Ronaldo had converted his 20th minute penalty.

A dramatic penalty shootouts ensued. After 15 successful kicks (7 to United 8 to Middleborough) , Elanga missed his spot kick to hand Middleborough the win and send United parking from the FA Cup.

Today’s result leaves United’s title hopes for the season solely dependent on a very Unlikely UEFA champions league title triumph.

Manchester United will will win nothing, not only this season but in next two seasons as they didn’t sign any attacking midfielder. Even could have signed Julian Alverage @ cheaper price for the next season but wrong decision from tops failed when whole show.
