The Netherlands manager, Louise Van Gaal as advised his countryman Erik ten Hag who is one of the front runners for the Manchester United job to snub the English club.
Van Gaal who was sacked by the Manchester-based club and replaced by Jose Mourinho said they are not a football club but a commercial club.
Spanish, Luis Enrique, Italian manager, Roberto Mancini, Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochetteno have all been linked to the Manchester United job.
And Erik ten Hag is reportedly willing to join the Manchester-based club from Ajax.
But Louis Van Gaal has advised him against the move.
“Erik ten Hag is a great coach and that is always good for Manchester United.
“But Manchester United are a commercial club, so it’s a difficult choice for a coach. He’d better go to a football club.”
