Manchester United are planning to make a move for Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson, according to reports via multiple sources.
United are looking to strengthen their attack after a disappointing season for Rasmus Hojlund and new signing Joshua Zirkzee. Between them, the two strikers only scored 17 goals in all competitions, which has pushed the club to look for a more reliable forward.
Nicolas Jackson, a Senegal international, had a mixed season at Chelsea but still managed to score 13 goals in 37 appearances. He was the club’s main striker and one of their few consistent goal threats.

However, Chelsea have recently signed Liam Delap and João Pedro, which may limit Jackson’s playing time next season. This has created uncertainty around his future at Stamford Bridge, and Manchester United are hoping to take advantage.
According to journalist Nabil Djellit, Chelsea were initially asking for £100 million for Jackson. But it is now believed they may accept a lower fee, possibly around £60 million.
United are said to have already asked about Jackson’s availability. Other Premier League clubs are also reportedly interested.
A final decision on whether Jackson will leave Chelsea is likely to come after the Club World Cup. Chelsea recently won the tournament with a surprise 3–0 win over PSG, and this result could influence their transfer plans. However, the arrival of new attacking players suggests a change in the forward line may still happen.
