Manchester United Women Beat Burnley 3-0 as Lea Schüller Scores Twice

Manchester United Women secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Burnley in the League Cup, with Lea Schüller scoring twice to help the hosts claim all three points.

United started strongly and took the lead in the 29th minute through Ellen Wangerheim, who capitalised on a goalkeeping error to put the ball into an empty net.

Burnley struggled to create clear opportunities as United continued to control the game, although the visitors managed to keep the scoreline close during the first half.

The hosts increased their advantage in the 66th minute when Schüller finished from close range following a low cross from Jayde Riviere.

The German forward then completed her brace in the 86th minute, finding the net after a well-worked attacking move to put the result beyond doubt.

The victory was another positive result for United, who continued their strong form across competitions. The team also welcomed several players back from injury, adding further encouragement to an already impressive night.
