Mann, George lead Clippers to first-ever Conference finals with win over Jazz

76ers defeat Hawks to force Game 7

Los Angeles Clippers completed a remarkable comeback as they returned from 2-0 down to win their Conference semifinal series 4-2 with a 131-119 win over Utah Jazz in Game 6 of their Conference semifinal series. In the absence of the injured Kawhi Leonard, the Clippers looked set to struggle, but Terance Mann, Paul George and Reggie Jackson helped them come back from 26 points behind to pick up an impressive win. Mann led the scoring with 39 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist; George had 28 points with 9 rebounds and 7 assists, and Jackson had 27 points with 3 rebounds and 10 assists for the Clippers, who have now qualified for their first-ever Conference finals where they will face the Phoenix Suns in a best of seven series.

Philadelphia 76ers returned from the brink to win 104-99 against the Atlanta Hawks in Game 6 of their NBA Conference semifinal series to tie the series at 3-3 and force a seventh game. Joel Embiid contributed a double-double of 22 points, 13 rebounds and 1 assist. Seth Curry and Tobias Harris had 24 points apiece for the 76ers in the in win as well. Trae Young contributed 34 points for the Hawks, but couldn’t lead them to victory. Both sides will face each other one last time for a place in the Eastern Conference Finals.
