Masters social round-up: Sergio´s charge, Couples rolling back the years and Grace´s brilliance
Sergio Garcia went on a popular charge at the Masters as the leaderboard became far more compact on a dramatic day two.
Charley Hoffman could not match his opening-round 65 and slipped back to four under for the tournament after a disappointing 75, and Garcia – despite being temporarily the subject of a scoreboard error – joined him after posting a three-under 69.
Later in the day it was the turn of Rickie Fowler and Thomas Pieters to turn on the style to make it a four-way tie at the top heading into the weekend, while a certain Jordan Spieth also surged back into contention.
Here’s our round-up of day two via social media.
Ouch! It was a difficult day from the start for defending champion Danny Willett…

There was plenty of confusion as a scoreboard error wrongly had Garcia scoring a seven at the 10th, but the mistake was quickly rectified.
There was a scoring-reporting error with Sergio Garcia. He made a bogey 5 on No. 10. The error is being corrected. #themasters
